JOHN CARROLL CLASSIC & FIREWORKS SHOW PRESENTED BY SKAGIT FARMERS SUPPLY FUEL AND PROPANE
The sky will light up with color this Saturday, May 23, for the John Carroll Classic & Fireworks show presented by Skagit Farmers Supply Fuel & Propane. The Hill Meat Company 410 Sprint Cars return followed by the Exclusive Quality Customs 360 Sprint Cars and the season debut of the Midgets.
As competition heats up, the Hill Meat Company 410 Sprint Car division at Skagit Speedway has already seen two different winners through two weeks. Tyler Thompson picked up the win on their opening night, while Robbie Price led wire to wire last Saturday, May 16, to pick up his first 410 win at Skagit Speedway since the 2024 season. Price started second and rocketed out to the lead by turn one and never looked back. Trey Starks and Jesse Schlotfeldt finished second and third. Price continues to lead the points standings with 233. Starks vaults from third to second in points while Thompson moves back to third. Starks is eight points behind while Thompson is 23 points behind.
Following the excitement in the 410 division, the Exclusive Quality Customs 360 Sprint Cars return for race four of the 2026 season. Starks has been the story through the first three races of the year after winning all three. The last time the 360 Sprint Cars raced at Skagit Speedway, Stark’s margin of victory was just under 10 seconds at 9.6 seconds over second-place running Schlotfeldt. Schlotfeldt battled with Steven Hendrickson before moving into second place, but never ran down Starks. Starks leads the 360 Sprint Cars with 361 total points, Colton Heath is second 44 points behind, and Schlotfeldt is third 61 points behind.
Rounding out the night, the Midgets return to Skagit Speedway for their first of 10 races in 2026. Shane Smith won the championship in 2025 after picking up two wins in eight features, never missing the top five the entire year. Ryan Orchard finished second in points with three wins, six top fives, and eight top 10s in eight features. Nick Evans was third with five top fives and seven top 10s in eight features.
