Skagit Speedway Signs Agreement With Goodyear Racing Tires

Skagit Speedway has entered into a multiyear agreement with Goodyear to supply the racing tires for all three sprint divisions beginning in 2010. "Goodyear presented a solid business package that will benefit the racers and the speedway for the next several years," commented track owner Steve Beitler, "We have had a great relationship with Hoosier Tires for the past eight years, I have no problems with the quality or service from Hoosier Tires. This was a business decision that needed to be made. It is important to me that we take care of our racers and continue to upgrade the facility without raising prices to our competitors or fans. The Goodyear program allows us to move forward with our future plans."
Goodyear is currently in production of tires for the spring races in Florida. We will have tires available in the northwest in March.
Skagit Speedway wishes to send a sincere 'Thank You' to Rick Gearhardt and Neal Cowman at Hoosier Tire for the great support you have given us over the years!
There will be a sprint car owners meeting February 20th at 10:00am at the PUD Building in Mt. Vernon (between Sign Mart & Blade Chevrolet). We will cover the tire program at the meeting.
